Part Time Office Administrator
The New Zealand Rugby Players’ Association (NZRPA) and The New Zealand Cricket Players' Association (NZCPA) were founded by New Zealand’s professional players as their independent representative bodies. Players work with the game’s administration to address player welfare and to contribute to the ongoing development of the game. The NZRPA and the NZCPA helps players support each other, helps them take advantage of commercial opportunities and helps them understand and deal with life as professional sportspeople, and ensures they have an organised and credible voice at the decision making table.
We are now searching for a talented administrator to join our team. This multi-faceted role will see you working Monday – Friday 8.30am – 12.30pm (there is a degree of flexibility for the right candidate) – your primary responsibly will be to ensure that everything in our office is running smoothly. This is a joint role between the NZRPA and the NZCPA however there are also other Players Associations in the office so from time to time you may be required to work across these as well.
To succeed in this role you will need be a forward thinking jack (and master!) of all trades when it comes to administration, be the type of person who takes ownership of their role and have a positive, professional, can-do attitude.
Your responsibilities will include:
Our ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking office all-rounder who has an eye for detail, is computer savvy and confident in Microsoft office and who is exceptionally well organised. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bookkeeping skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
