Mark Troughear was appointed CEO of Freightways’ in 2018, having joined the company in 1996. A University of Waikato graduate, he began his career in sales and marketing at New Zealand Couriers before becoming General Manager of Post Haste in 2003. In 2009, he was appointed General Manager for Freightways overseeing the development of the Information Management Division prior to stepping into the CEO role. His experience spans sales management, brand development, managing operational units, mergers and acquisitions, emerging business development, and corporate governance.
