David Kirk MBE

President

David Kirk is a former New Zealand rugby union player best known for having been the captain of the All Blacks when they won the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987. A medical doctor, Rhodes Scholar and former parliamentary advisory, David was awarded an MBE in the 1998 New Year Honours for services to rugby. He is also the author of two books and was inducted into the IRB Hall of Fame in 2011.

David has held many senior roles in a variety of organisations including CEO of Fairfax Media and Chairman of Trade Me. He continues to sit on several boards and is a trustee of several charities.
